REMEMBERING TEDDY FUSCO (1975-2017)

We lost Teddy on May 5, 2017. Teddy was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend - and everyone’s favorite uncle.

Teddy was born nearly 4 months early - a miracle in so many ways. He was called to Heaven decades too soon. My family and I are lucky to have shared the 41 short years we had with him.

Teddy was loved by all - and it’s no surprise that he had so many that held him dear. I’m not saying this as his sister, but as someone who was amazed on a daily basis by his kindness, gentle soul, and genuine and unending capacity for love.

Teddy would give you the shirt off his back, even amid a blizzard and subzero temperatures. But, of course, only before he helped shovel out your car, made you his famous chicken legs or ribs, and then cleaned your house til it was sparkling.

From a young age, Teddy loved to make everyone around him laugh. We have so many “Teddy Stories” that it is difficult to pick a favorite. He was also a practical joker — who encourage my son Jimmy’s April Fool’s Day ideas, and who played many jokes on his coworkers, friends and neighbors.

Teddy, you are loved and you are greatly missed.
